A 23-year-old woman serving a six-year sentence for first-degree burglary was at-large Wednesday morning after she walked away from a California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation drug treatment facility in Pomona.
Alexandria Sorenson was discovered missing from her room at 9:10 p.m. Tuesday and staff conducted an immediate search of the area and CDCR agents were assigned to find and arrest her, according to Vicky Waters of the CDCR.
Sorenson is white 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 207 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes, Waters said.
Sorenson was convicted of first degree burglary in San Bernardino County in December 2018 and sentenced to six years in prison. She was placed in the Pomona facility this month, Waters said. The exact date was not disclosed.
Anyone who knows of Sorenson’s whereabouts was asked to call 911.
