Clean up efforts were underway Tuesday morning at a tire shop in Northridge after a Toyota Corolla crashed through a window of the shop and another vehicle crashed into a power pole nearby, but no one was seriously hurt.
Two vehicles traveling at a high rate of speed southbound on Balboa Boulevard south of Devonshire Street around 11 p.m. Monday hit a dip in the road, sending one vehicle into the tire shop and another into a power pole, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Video from the scene showed a black Toyota Corolla crashed through a window of the America’s Tire Co. store at 10235 Balboa Blvd. The second vehicle was also a Toyota, but the model was unclear.
No one was seriously injured in the crashes.
Alcohol or street racing were not considered factors in the crash.
