An armed man who barricaded himself inside a Reseda home was taken custody Wednesday morning after a nearly seven-hour standoff with police.
Officers responded to home in the 18900 block of Cantara Street, just south of the intersection of Roscoe Boulevard and Wilbur Avenue, about 10:35 p.m. Tuesday, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The man was suspected of firing at least one shot before police arrived, the LAPD said. It was unclear what prompted the shot.
A SWAT team was called in and the man was taken into custody around 5:30 a.m., police said.
