A man was shot to death in the Willowbrook area of unincorporated South Los Angeles, authorities said Sunday.
Century Station deputies responded at 8:19 p.m. Saturday to the 2600 block of East 132nd Street on an assault with a deadly weapon and gunshot call and found the victim in the front seat of a vehicle with multiple gunshot wounds to the upper torso, Deputy Marvin Crowder of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau said.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, Crowder said.
Sheriff’s homicide detectives were canvassing the area for potential witnesses and looking for surveillance video that might help them identify a suspect or suspects, he said.
