Police in Long Beach Friday identified one of two men wanted as “persons of interest” in their investigation into a series of incidents in which men peeped into women’s homes, and authorities released images of both men.

Incidents involving men looking into windows occurred at various times between about 8 p.m. and 6:30 a.m. between Jan. 12 and Oct. 23, the Long Beach Police Department reported.

One man being sought for questioning was identified by police as Fredrick Terrence Harvey, 51, of Long Beach.

“Harvey is currently wanted on a parole violation and (an) outstanding warrant,” police said in a statement. Police believe Harvey may have been involved in more than one of the incidents.

The second man being sought, whose identity is not known, was described as white or Hispanic, about 30-35 years of age, 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall, with a medium build and a shaved head.

The victimized women were between 20 and 43 years old, police said.

Most of the incidents occurred in an area from Bellflower Boulevard to Park Avenue and Stearns Street to Pacific Coast Highway, police said.

One incident occurred Jan. 21 at about 10 p.m. near Lakewood Boulevard and East Carson Street, according to police.

In most of the cases, a suspect approached an exposed window and after looking inside, made a comment about the victim’s physical appearance before fleeing on foot, police said.

Anyone with information on the case was urged to call the police department’s Sex Crimes Detail at 562-570-7368. Anonymous tips can be submitted through Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS or lacrimestoppers.org.
