A 21-year-old man was arrested for possession of a firearm and drugs after deputies saw him in an illegally parked vehicle in Norco, Riverside sheriff’s officials announced Sunday.
At 12:26 a.m. Friday, Riverside County Sheriff’s Department deputies saw a vehicle parked illegally on Valley and Country Club drives.
Investigators discovered the driver to be in possession of a loaded firearm and “large amounts of illicit narcotics,” said Sgt. Julio De Leon.
Cesar Romero of Riverside was arrested and booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center, according to the sheriff’s department.
The investigation was ongoing and anyone with information related to this case was asked to call the Norco Sheriff’s Station at 951-270-5673.
