A body was found Wednesday partially submerged in a pond at Almansor Park in Alhambra, police said.
Police were sent about 8:30 a.m. to the park at Almansor and Park streets, said Alhambra police Sgt. Steven Carr.
“A city maintenance worker reported finding what appeared to be a body partially submerged in the duck pond, which is located in the middle of the park,” Carr said in a statement. “There is no public safety threat associated with this incident at this time.”
Information was not immediately available on the gender or identity of the person or a possible cause of death.
