A Reseda man pleaded guilty Thursday a federal charge for attempting to sell $5,000 in fake $100 bills to an undercover agent in Reseda.
Victor Raul Andia Von Hesse, 56, entered his plea in Los Angeles federal court to dealing in counterfeit obligations and securities of the United States. He faces up to 20 years in federal prison at sentencing May 28, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
Prosecutors said Von Hesse offered to exchange $5,000 in phony hundreds for $1,000 in genuine cash.
