A 17-year-old boy was killed and two other people were wounded in a shooting at a house party in Arleta, and police Saturday are looking for the shooter and two possible accomplices.
The wounds to the other victims were not considered life-threatening, according to Officer Rosario Cervantes of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Media Relations Section.
Officers responded to a shots-fired call at a home in the 13400 block of Rangoon Street, near Canterbury Avenue, at 10:45 p.m. Friday and found a man in his 20s, unconscious, with a gunshot wound to his chest, according to police.
A witness told police he heard at least 10 gunshots.
ABC7 reported one victim died at the scene, a second victim was taken to a hospital by paramedics and a third gunshot victim went to a hospital in Panorama City.
The shooter fled in an unknown direction, possibly with two other people, police said.
A detailed description of the shooter was not available.
