A 23-year-old man was fatally shot early Wednesday morning in San Pedro.
Jose Luis Acevedo-Jaimes was shot about 1:25 a.m. near Cabrillo Avenue and Sepulveda Street, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Paramedics took Acevedo-Jaimes to a hospital, where he later died.
