A man was shot and killed in Compton Saturday morning and the shooter was at large.
Deputies responded to a shooting in the 1100 block of 144th Street about 1:50 a.m., where they found the victim, who was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Deputy Marvin Crowder of the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department.
A detailed description of the shooter was not available.
The name of the victim was not disclosed.
