An investigation was underway Wednesday into the cause of a crash on the west end of Hemet that killed a 27-year-old motorist.
David Jones of Hemet was pronounced dead at the scene of the single-vehicle wreck, which occurred about 8:15 p.m. Tuesday on North Kirby Street, just south of Fruitvale Avenue, according to the Riverside County Coroner’s Office.
According to Hemet police, paramedics reached the location a few minutes later and pronounced the driver dead at the scene at 8:38 p.m.
