A man shot to death during a fight with another man in the Sawtelle district of West Los Angeles was publicly identified Wednesday.
Rashad Johnson, 26, was a Los Angeles resident, according to the coroner’s office.
The shooting was reported at 9:51 p.m. Sunday in the 1500 block of Butler Avenue near Santa Monica Boulevard, said Officer D. Orris of the Los Angeles Police Department.
The two men were fighting outside when one shot the other, Orris said.
