A man standing on a street or sidewalk in Inglewood was shot Thursday evening, prompting police to search for four men in a dark-colored vehicle.
The victim, whose name was not released, was taken to a hospital in unknown condition, according to Inglewood Police Department Lt. James Kirk.
The shooting was reported about 8:30 p.m. at the intersection of Byrd Avenue and Fourth Avenue, near Circle Park, Kirk said.
A detailed description of the vehicle was not available.
