Police Sunday released the name of a man who was found fatally wounded near the entrance of a hotel in Anaheim.

The victim was identified as 20-year-old Rodolfo Alfredo Miranda of Anaheim, said Anaheim Police Sgt. Shane Carringer.

The shooting was reported at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Candlewood Suites, at 1733 S. Anaheim St. Miranda was located near the entrance to the hotel suffering from a gunshot wound, Carringer said.

He was taken to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
