Two men broke into a home in Culver City and appear to have taken nothing from the residence, police said Sunday.
Surveillance footage showed that two men broke in through a kitchen glass door and made entry. Several seconds later, they were seen running out of the residence, the Culver City Police Department reported.
Officers were dispatched at 10:45 p.m. Saturday to a home in the 4000 block of Minerva Avenue regarding a residential burglary. A resident told arriving officers that she heard what sounded like fireworks coming from her kitchen door.
“The resident checked the source of the sound and realized that someone broke in and quickly left,” according to a police statement. “A witness stated the suspects fled in a white, four-door sedan headed southbound on Minerva Avenue and out of sight.”
The department’s Detective Bureau urged anyone with information regarding the crime to call them at 310-253-6300.
