A man died Thursday at the scene of a shooting involving one or more Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies in an unincorporated county area near south Los Angeles.
Detectives were sent to 108th Street and Vermont Avenue about 4 a.m. to investigate a shooting involving one or more deputies and a man described only as a “suspect,” according to the sheriff’s department, which refused to release any other information.
The coroner’s office confirmed that a man in his 30s died at the scene at 4:12 a.m.
