A hit-and-run driver struck a pedestrian in El Sereno Thursday evening, leaving the victim with “severe injuries,” police said.
The pedestrian was struck about 6 p.m. near Alhambra and Bullard avenues, according to Officer William Cooper of the Los Angeles Police Department.
The male suspect is believed to be driving a 2000-2010 white Toyota Tacoma pickup truck with power washing equipment in the back, Cooper said.
The Los Angeles Fire Department took the victim to a hospital, according to Cooper. The Los Angeles Fire Department did not have additional information about the victim.
