Two adults and four children were injured Wednesday when a vehicle slammed into a utility pole in Perris.
The crash occurred about 2:40 p.m. in the 900 block of East San Jacinto Avenue, just east of Murrieta Road, according to the Riverside County Fire Department. The circumstances were unclear.
Paramedics reached the location within a few minutes and found three occupants of the car suffering from moderate injuries, while the other three had minor injuries, authorities said.
No other vehicles were involved.
Four ambulances were summoned, three of which transported victims to Riverside University Medical Center in Moreno Valley, and another took patients to Loma Linda University Medical Center.
An electrical line collapsed at the accident scene, and Southern California Edison technicians were requested to make repairs. There were no reports of outages.
