Two people found dead in a Banning house were victims of foul play, police said Thursday.
The victims, whose names were being withheld by investigators, were located Monday morning at a residence in the 1500 block of Cottonwood Road, near 14th Street, according to the Banning Police Department.
Agency spokeswoman Sol Avila said patrol officers were called to the property about 10 a.m. after a witness discovered the bodies.
There was no word on how the pair died, or whether detectives had identified potential suspects.
