A 19-year-old man was charged Monday with sending pornography to an underage girl in Huntington Beach.
Zachary James Baillie is charged with one count each of distributing pornography to a minor with the intent to engage in sexual conduct and luring a child with the intent to commit a sex crime, both felonies, as well as a misdemeanor count of possession or control of child pornography, according to court records.
Arraignment for Baillie, who is being held on $100,000 bail, was rescheduled for Thursday in the jail courtroom in Santa Ana.
Huntington Beach police were notified by an “outside agency” that the defendant was allegedly “exchanging lewd images with an acquaintance he knew was a minor,” said Huntington Beach police Lt. Brian Smith.
Police believe “this was an isolated incident,” Smith said.
