Police asked for help Friday locating a 77-year-old woman who went missing from the San Fernando Valley area.
Kumud Mahesh Bhatt was last seen Thursday in the 8000 block of Chimineas Avenue, near Strathern Street, in the Reseda area, the Los Angeles Police Department said.
The woman was described as 5 feet, 4 inches tall and 120 pounds with brown eyes and black hair.
Police said Bhatt’s family “is very concerned for her safety, and she may be in need of medical attention.”
LAPD urged anyone with information on her whereabouts to contact its missing persons unit at 213-996-1800.
