Authorities Wednesday identified a man who was fatally shot in what police called an apparent gang-related shooting in Santa Fe Springs, and investigators continued their efforts to solve the crime.
The shooting was reported about 3:10 p.m. Tuesday at Carmenita Road and Rosecrans Avenue, according to the Whittier Police Department, which also patrols Santa Fe Springs.
Adrian Noel Flores Marquez, 39, of Santa Fe Springs died at the scene, according to the coroner’s office and Whittier police. No arrests were reported, and no suspect information was available.
