Deputies from the Palm Desert Sheriff’s Station were searching Saturday for a 65-year-old woman discovered missing during an investigation in the unincorporated North Palm Springs area.
Robin Patricia Barr was discovered missing Thursday when detectives investigated “a suspicious circumstance call” in the 64000 block of Vermillion Road, according to sheriff’s Sgt. Rick Espinoza.
“Due to the nature of the circumstances, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Central Homicide Unit responded and assumed the investigation,” Espinoza said. He did not explain the circumstances.
