A motorcyclist was hurt Friday in a crash at Chuckwalla Valley Raceway near Desert Center.
The solo motorcycle crash was reported about 11:30 a.m. on the race track located off state Route 177, just north of Interstate 10, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
The rider, whose name was not released, suffered injuries described as moderate while racing. An air ambulance landed nearby and took the victim to an area hospital.
