Police asked for public assistance Thursday to find a 37-year-old Glendale woman who left for a day of hiking and hasn’t been seen since.
Narineh Avakian was last seen around noon on Sunday leaving her residence in the 1400 block of Fifth Street, according to Glendale police, who said she was driving a Subaru Impreza, California plate 8JSH794.
It’s not known exactly where Avakian was planning to hike, police said.
Investigators circulated a photo of Avakian, who is described as white, 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighing about 90 pounds, with long brown hair. She was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt and white leggings.
