Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department detectives Friday are continuing their search for a person of interest being sought in the death of a man killed in Lancaster.
The victim was involved in an altercation in the 45200 block of Beech Avenue, near the intersection of Sierra Highway and West Avenue I, between 2:15 a.m. and 3 a.m. Thursday, according to the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name and age have not been released.
The Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau released a picture of the person of interest, adding he was last seen at the intersection of Beech Avenue and West Avenue I.
Anyone with information regarding the man’s death was urged to call the lead homicide detective on the case, Lt. Steve DeJong, at 323-890-5500.
