Sheriff’s detectives continued their search Sunday for a 73-year-old man who went missing in Carson and suffers from dementia and Parkinson’s disease.
Clark Krebel was last seen at about 10:30 a.m. Friday at East 220th and Dolores streets, in Carson, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Krebel is white, stands 5-feet-9 inches tall, and weighs an estimated 150 pounds. He has gray hair and brown eyes and was believed to be wearing a black Nike jacket, black pants and yellow shoes, the LASD reported.
A silver alert was also issued by the California Highway Patrol.
The silver alert program was established to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearance of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals, according to the CHP.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts was asked to call the sheriff’s missing person unit at 323-890-5500 or 911. Tipsters can also call Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477.
