A man and woman in their 60s were found stabbed to death Monday in Altadena.

The victims were pronounced dead at the scene of the attack that was reported about 2:45 p.m. in the 3000 block of North Marengo Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Investigators initially responded to the scene on reports of a possible kidnapping, CBS2 reported. The female victim was on a Zoom call with a witness who saw a suspect grab her and drag her away, according to ABC7.

ABC7 reported that one victim was found inside a home and the other in a driveway.

The victims’ names were not released.
