Los Angeles Police Department officers were involved in a fatal shooting Saturday in Hollywood.
The shooting occurred at 2:37 p.m. at Sunset Boulevard and Fairfax Avenue, said Officer Rosario Cervantes of the Media Relations Section. Cervantes could not immediately provide details.
A dispatcher in the LAPD’s Operations Center confirmed the shooting was fatal.
Video from the scene showed a white shelter beside a patrol car. Broadcast media earlier reported a body was under a white sheet.
Sunset Boulevard was shut down in the area for the investigation.
