A 70-year-old man died Sunday evening in North Hollywood after being struck in the head with an unknown object by another man, who was taken into custody.
The altercation occurred about 8:50 p.m. at 5708 Klump Ave., according to a desk officer at the Los Angeles Police Department’s Operations Center.
A Google search of the address indicated it is a house.
The victim, whose identity was not released, was pronounced dead at the scene and the 50-year-old suspect was taken into custody, the officer said.
