Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide detectives were assisting Bell police in the investigation of a fatal shooting Saturday evening.
The shooting happened in the 4200 block of Florence Avenue about 8:05 p.m., according to Deputy Tracy Koerner of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
The victim, a man whose name was withheld, was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
