County firefighters were waging a battle Monday evening to try gain control of a blaze inside a warehouse in Huntington Park that partially collapsed the rear of the roof.
The fire in the warehouse at 2863 Gage Ave. was reported at 8:30 p.m., according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
Crews were in a defensive position because the blaze was out of control.
As of about 9:45 p.m., no victims had been reported.
