Police Wednesday were seeking additional victims of three suspects who assaulted a security guard and made off with products from an Ulta Beauty store in Seal Beach.
Seal Beach Police Department officers responded just before 4:40 p.m. Tuesday to the store at 12339 Seal Beach Blvd. on reports of a robbery, according to the department’s Lt. Nick Nicholas.
Witnesses at the scene told officers that the three suspects stole “high-end merchandise” and assaulted the security guard who tried to stop them as they left the store.
The security guard was not injured in the assault, Nicholas said.
The suspects fled the scene in a vehicle, and a witness provided its license plate number to responding officers.
The three suspects and their vehicle were later located and detained by sheriff’s deputies in Los Angeles County, and were subsequently arrested for suspicion of robbery by SBPD investigators. They were identified as 20-year-old Tommy Dunmore, 18-year-old Kahjai Alford and 19-year-old Asja Hansbrough, all of Los Angeles.
SBPD detectives believe the three suspects may have robbed other Ulta Stores throughout Southern California and asked for anyone with information to contact Detective Jorge Muñiz at 562-799-4100 ext. 1108 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
