A woman was struck and killed Saturday morning by a vehicle in Santa Monica.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with officers, the Santa Monica Police Department reported.
The crash occurred at about 2:30 a.m. in the area of Main Street and Ashland Avenue. Paramedics rushed the woman to an area hospital, where she later died from her injuries.
