A 40-year-old man was critically wounded in a shooting in Compton Sunday morning, authorities said.
Deputies dispatched at about 1:10 a.m. to an assault with a deadly weapon call in the 1400 block of East Alondra Boulevard found the 40-year-old man on the ground suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department reported.
Paramedics rushed him to an area hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.
