An autopsy was pending to determine whether a 74-year-old woman found dead in a Downey home was a victim of homicide, authorities said Monday.
Mei Peng was found dead at 2:14 p.m. Thursday at a home in the 8300 block of Charloma Drive, according to Downey police Sgt. P. Miller.
The death was “suspicious,” Miller said.
No further information was available.
