One person died in Long Beach Saturday in an apparent solo vehicle traffic collision.
Officers responded at 1:46 a.m. to the connector road of the Artesia (91) Freeway and the northbound Long Beach (710) Freeway where they found the victim and the crash scene, said the California Highway Patrol.
According to CHP, the vehicle in which the victim was traveling collided with several cones on the freeway prior to the crash.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
