A woman was behind bars Thursday on suspicion of fatally stabbing a man along the railroad tracks in Santa Ana.
Police were called at 8:39 p.m. Wednesday about the stabbing in the 2200 block of South Beeson Lane, said Santa Ana police Cpl. Maria Lopez.
The victim, whose name was not immediately released, was found on scene with a stab wound to his upper body, Lopez said. The man in his 30s was pronounced dead at the scene.
The suspect — 37-year-old Tanya Ceja — was arrested at the scene and acknowledged stabbing the victim during a dispute, Lopez said. A knife used in the stabbing was recovered, she said.
The two appear to be transients, Lopez said.
