A fire at a house in South Los Angeles was knocked down in about 15 minutes by 30 firefighters Friday.
The fire at 6050 S. Madden Ave., near Slauson Avenue, between Crenshaw Boulevard and Van Ness Avenue, was reported at 3:50 p.m., according to Nicholas Prange of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire remained under investigation.
