A fire damaged a home in Desert Hot Springs Wednesday but no injuries were reported.
The Riverside County Fire Department received a report of the blaze at 12:33 p.m. in the 68200 block of Calle Blanco. Firefighters arrived to find the single-story home with heavy smoke and fire coming from the side of the building.
Crews extinguished the blaze by about 1:10 p.m.
The extent of damage to the home was not immediately known, and the cause of the fire remained under investigation.
