Police arrested a wrong-way motorist in Palos Verdes Estates who had brandished a knife and had a blood alcohol content three times over the legal limit, authorities said Sunday.
The arrest came in response to several calls at about 8 p.m. Saturday of a wrong-way driver on Palos Verdes Drive West, the Palos Verdes Estates Police Department reported.
Officers quickly located the vehicle, and the driver was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving and a weapons violation.
