A 76-year-old man was hit by a vehicle and killed in the Palms area of Los Angeles, police said Friday.
Mohammad Reza Bina, of Los Angeles, was injured about 10:20 p.m. Thursday at Palms Boulevard and Vinton Avenue and died at the scene the Los Angeles Police Department reported.
The motorist, who was driving a Kia Soul, remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators, police said.
“It is unknown if speed was a factor in this collision,” police said in a statement “Alcohol and/or drugs were not a factor.”
