Firefighters Sunday knocked down a “major emergency” fire at a row of two-story commercial structures in downtown Los Angeles.
The 134 firefighters dispatched at 3:42 a.m. to 1325 S. Los Angeles St. had the blaze out in two hours and four minutes, according to Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
“Crews will remain on the scene through the morning, as they chase down smoldering areas while working around safety hazards caused by the partial roof collapse,” Humphrey said.
No injuries were reported and a cause of the fire was under investigation.
