A 55-year-old man pleaded not guilty Thursday to raping a disabled woman in Anaheim.
Manuel Rodriguezquintanar pleaded not guilty to the rape charge in the jail courtroom in Santa Ana and was ordered to return to court June 24 for a pretrial hearing in the North Justice Center in Fullerton.
The defendant was accused of sexually assaulting a 63-year-old disabled woman on April 30, according to Anaheim police Sgt. Jacob Gallacher.
The defendant’s girlfriend was the victim’s caretaker and discovered the assault while reviewing footage from a monitor set up to keep a watch on her, Gallacher said.
