A 35-year-old man accused of illegally possessing 11 firearms was out on bail Wednesday.
Christopher Ramos of La Quinta was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of felony child endangerment, possession of a machine gun, stolen firearm and short-barreled rifle, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
The department’s SWAT team and the Thermal Station Investigation Bureau searched a residence in the 79600 block of Vista Coralina, where they allegedly found 11 illegally possessed firearms.
Ramos posted $35,000 bail and was released from the John J. Benoit Detention Center on Wednesday.
