A Hawthorne police officer was seriously injured Friday in a crash involving a patrol vehicle and a car.
The collision was reported about 2:45 a.m. Friday at 120th Street and Hawthorne Boulevard, the Hawthorne Police Department reported.
“The officer and the other driver were injured and taken to the hospital,” police said in a statement. “The officer is in serious but stable condition and the other driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries.”
