A man who allegedly abducted his 5-year-old daughter in Carson City, Nevada, may be headed to the Quartz Hill area of the Antelope Valley, authorities said.
According to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, Amaya Meithof was taken Sunday morning by 41-year-old Christopher Meithof, who is believed to be driving a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee with Oregon license plate number 576QNU.
An Amber Alert was issued for Amaya.
Authorities said their last known direction of travel and possible destination was “southbound Quartz Hill, California,” near Lancaster.
