A stolen car suspect who fired a shot at police was arrested Monday evening after a pursuit that ended near Carson.
Los Angeles Police Department officers began chasing the suspect after learning the vehicle the suspect was driving was stolen, according to CBS 2.
The suspect crashed the vehicle at approximately 10:07 p.m. near Sepulveda Boulevard and the northbound Harbor (110) Freeway into a ravine, jumped out of the vehicle and after shooting at the officers, ran into a tunnel under the freeway.
Shortly thereafter, officers located the suspect who was taken into custody.
According to reports from the scene, police remained on scene searching for the gun used by the suspect.
