A man was wounded in a shooting in front of a home in the unincorporated Valinda area Sunday evening.
The shooting was reported at 6:40 p.m. in the 16600 block of Maple Grove Street, according to Sgt. B. Del Valle of the Industry Sheriff’s Station.
The victim was taken to a hospital by paramedics and had stable vital signs, Del Valle said.
Additional information was not immediately available, he said.
A news videographer at the scene said the victim may have been sitting in a vehicle when he was shot, saying the front and rear doors were open with shell casings leading up to the vehicle.
